I solved something all around:
for example find the right husband to Catelyntje Arentse Van Petten solved a little something. (but also much more)

Also to look at the dates Tanneka Van Buren
is same wife as Tonica Tanneke VanBuren but they have different families.

& here I pass the ball to the natives of the area..

I learned the real danger of Geni this week. A stranger, Ron Evans, started making changes and additions to my Geni family tree. When I asked him what he was up to and how he was related, I did not get a direct answer. When I asked him to stop meddling with my tree he insisted that he had an absolute right to "memorialize" my ancestors who died in the holocaust. I did not participate in Geni so that someone not of my family or religion can earn brownie points. I tried deleting my tree but the only option seemed to be leaving my relatives in the Geni database. I wish to delete my entire tree so that I can preserve the memory of my ancestors in a private place.

Private User I'll work with you to straighten the tree out, but I can see why it was merged in the first place. It looks as if there might have been several trees that were merged over time. I'll need some help from all the managers in locating sources to make sure we end up with a single accurate tree.

Bear in mind that Trees copied from Ancestry (or anywhere else) are not sources. They just indicate WHERE they were copied from, and give some level of confidence in the data, and trees from Ancestry have the lowest level of confidence. (my opinion)
