Great resource

Very useful for me. Thank you Erica!

I just checked the link you sent to Linda, and I thank you too!

Hi Erica, I have a couple of ancestors who participated in the American Revolutionary War. How do I list them in the project?

Best regards,

John Pat

One of us will take that quick check and then - it's added !

If I post some photos of Military Documents for John Alkire could I get some help with verification of them. They have 2 different spellings on these things looks like same person. I want to make sure I right in it. If wrong can we take out of system too????

Here profile for The John Alkire I having issues with.

John Goodloe Alkire

Sure, add away, everything can be fixed. I think his wife's parents are on this page

Erica,
I added 2 war records found to profile not sure it correct though on person they mangled name up bad if it him.

John Goodloe Alkire

Looks like they talking about same person but 2 different spellings I seen the Alkire name spelled Aglure before but this not even that so. If we can't determine if right person. I will take down seeing stuff he was in revolutionary War and couple notes stating 1812 so bit iffy.

Is there a Revolutionary War prisoner of war page I believe I found one here. I like to add him as prisoner of war

Robert McCray, (Sr.)

Billie

Was wondering about that too. My 6th grandfather that was a loyalist was in prison in New York escaped and went to Canada. Would like to add him to something like that fam.

Got Patriots and Loyalist grandfathers weird my fathers that took hand in creating me were fighting each other

Think ya got validation spot on for the folklore for Robert McCray the name in there and his location. Seen ya post earlier Billie look pretty spot on.

Lawerance,
Thanks but there some inconsistency I have to straighten up as well I wondering if these people just had 2 homes didn’t migrate we find records on them in Virginia, West Virginia and Canada. But these queens Rangers traveled a lot.
